Destination: Canal Winchester in conjunction with The City of Canal Winchester, is seeking qualified marketing professionals, consultants, or firms to submit Statements of Qualifications to assist in strengthening and promoting Canal Winchester as a vibrant destination for visitors, (residents, and businesses).

Canal Winchester is proud of its historic charm, strong community spirit, growing events calendar, and thriving local businesses. At this time, the City and Destination are not seeking a full rebrand, but rather a strategic partner to help elevate and amplify the reasons why Canal Winchester is a place people want to visit, explore, and return to.

The selected respondent will operate as an independent contractor for the duration of the agreed upon scope of work.

We are seeking a creative and strategic partner who can help:

• Develop a destination-focused marketing strategy
• Identify and articulate key visitor draw points
• Enhance storytelling around events, businesses, and experiences
• Strengthen digital and social media engagement
• Support tourism and economic development initiatives
• Create campaigns that position Canal Winchester as “the place to be”

Qualified respondents should demonstrate:

• Experience in destination or community-based marketing
• Strategic planning and campaign development expertise
• Strong creative and digital portfolio
• Measurable success in increasing engagement and visitation

Submissions should include qualifications, relevant experience, proposed project approach.

Destination:
Canal Winchester and the city reserve the right to modify or expand the scope of services as deemed necessary and to negotiate terms with the selected respondent.
